Annual Reports

We’re proud to be an organization that has supported dogs in need for over ten years. The annual reports below showcase our incredible journey toward ensuring every dog has a chance at a better tomorrow. Until they all have a home.

In 2024, adoptions remained low and financial strain persisted across the rescue world. We introduced new fundraisers alongside our main events to help raise vital support.

In 2023, we celebrated 10 years of rescue work and saw a meaningful boost in community engagement through school visits, senior outreach, and connection-focused events.

In 2022, we emerged from the pandemic, reconnecting with our community and regaining momentum through renewed school visits, in-person outreach, and the return of our Mini Paws program.

2021 was a year of resilience—marked by uncertainty but strengthened by teamwork, adaptability, and the healing power of dogs. With community support, we faced challenges and grew stronger together.

In 2020, despite shutdowns, we were deemed essential and rose to the challenge—saving lives, transporting pups, and meeting a surge in foster and adoption interest. With incredible teamwork, we placed 971 dogs in loving homes, proving TLC is more than a rescue—it’s a family.

In 2019, we welcomed over 190 moms and puppies—plus countless adult dogs—including 38 puppies born in our care. Alongside lifesaving efforts, we expanded community outreach through school visits, corporate wellness events, youth programs, and local partnerships supporting both people and pets.

In 2018, we expanded our core team, hosted successful fundraisers like Miles for Mutts and Yoga for Pups, and saw three TLC dogs begin training to become service dogs. Our Mini Paws program also rallied behind Bella, a resilient tripod pup, raising over $1,000 to support her recovery.
